Key Responsibilities:
- Microsoft 365 Management: Oversee the implementation, configuration, and administration of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Azure AD.
- Deployment and Migration: Plan and execute migration projects to Microsoft 365, ensuring a smooth transition from on-premises environments (e.g., Exchange Server, SharePoint) to the cloud.
- Azure AD & Identity Management: Implement and manage Azure Active Directory, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and supporting advanced identity management features like Conditional Access and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with security standards by configuring Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Conditional Access policies, and maintaining retention and eDiscovery policies. Implement Microsoft Defender and security best practices to safeguard data.
- Intune and Endpoint Management: Deploy and manage devices through Microsoft Intune, ensuring security policies are enforced, applications are deployed, and devices are maintained with updates.
- Automation & Scripting: Use PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks, enhance service delivery, and implement custom scripts for advanced system configurations.
- User Support & Troubleshooting: Provide second/third-level support for Microsoft 365-related issues, including mail flow, authentication, and service integration problems.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, procedures, and any updates or changes made to the environment.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless adoption and utilization of Microsoft 365 tools for communication and collaboration.
- Training & Best Practices: Provide training to staff on Microsoft 365 best practices and new features to maximize productivity and security.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 Engineer or related role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and Azure Active Directory.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, including MFA, Conditional Access, and DLP policies.
- Experience with migration projects from on-premises to Microsoft 365 cloud environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Microsoft 365 and Azure certifications are a plus.
